Nicer place than most to enjoy a Drink,in a relaxed atmosphere, without the fuss of trying to get to the Bar. Please be mindful though if paying a Visit, it is Cash Only to purchase.

What a lovely place. Was welcomed with a smile from the bar staff. Went with a friend, sadly there had been a local man's funeral. But the mood was still upbeat not maudlin. Music was playing and it was very busy.

Great jukebox, nice snug pool table and some decent beers. Staff are very friendly and the crowd is rock, classic rock. A good, fun pub tucked away.

Nice pub, well furnished with some leather seating good for a quiet drink and game of pool I think it being just off the main street helps if you want peace. Was only 2 options for non alcohol beer and cider but can't really expect them to have a wide range that most customers won't bother buying.

Been coming here since I turned 18. Out of all the places in Wakey it's the best for drinking. My one and only criticism would be the noise level of the music, it can get a bit hard to hear yourself think. Then again, its the only pub with decent music in the entire city so swings and roundabouts I guess. Staff are decent and don't put up with troublemakers so you'll not get drama here. - good drinks (regular rotation on ales) - good music - darts and pool - sports TV
